A big university seemed intimidating to them both for different reasons and he didn't want to put her through that. However, he also knew that his mother was already worried about paying for what she could and felt guilty that he had to take out student loans. This is what he would tell you if you asked him and it was the truth. He didn’t like the idea of an ‘undecided major’ anyway. He just didn’t want the brunt of failure and a shiny white letter that read ‘Sorry you’re not good enough to attend our school’ to come in the mail. He was convinced he didn’t have the grades to attend a university, not that he made any attempt to apply. Afterwards, he was allowed to attend class. Once that was settled and done with, Roxas had the distinct privilege of flashing a very horrible picture of a disgruntled and sleep deprived teenager to the security guard at the main desk. Nobody had told him he needed to acquire a student ID before he went to class. On the first day of college Roxas was late.Īlthough, he’ll claim this wasn’t his fault. Skating through this heatwave was like trying to fight your way through a thick mound of very hot molasses. He hated when tourists and Northerners would talk about how nice it must be to live in Florida and how the weather was so wonderful all the time, especially in summer. However, the weather was still scorching when Roxas was forced to skateboard to the local community college. It might not have snowed like it did where Sora was from but, the temperature dropped to a comfortable seventy degrees and the air was less stifling. Roxas preferred winter in Florida by leaps and bounds, and honestly, he wasn't alone. The weather would reach its wild peak of ninety degrees and beyond and the humidity would sky rocket. Summers in Florida were nothing to joke about. However, for Roxas, it was a lot worse than it would have been for Sora. The tropical summer air made it no more of an enjoyable experience. The routine of sliding back into classes was a hard one to begin with. The days were still heavy with summer heat, which, for students, made the return to school even harder than it should have been. Stores were beginning to offer Halloween candy in bulk and deals on sweet potato pie and window clings depicting dancing turkeys and spooky bats that no one really ever bought under the age of fifty-five. ![]() To each his own, but I am still giving this dish my stamp of approval. It wasn’t long before the summer air was scented with the beginnings of Autumn. But my Mum doesn't really like the strong gamey taste. ![]() Personally, I thought this dish taste really good. Lamb Shank ($22.90): Lamb has always been something of an acquired taste.I have never tasted anything like this elsewhere. Crispy Crab Cakes ($12.90): This is quite a pricey appetizer but it is worth every penny of yours because you find real chunks of crab meat. But for plain ole steak, this should satisfy your craving. If you are very particular about steak then you may have some qualms about the place. All dishes comes with a huge scoop of mash potato so it is very filling. Ribeye Steak ($29.90): The steak is decent for its price point.I love it! I think I had possibly 3 pieces :D The crust is crispy and the cheese is sticky. ![]() And we can assure you this place serves quality pizza.
